Mother tased in front of her kids while dropping them off at daycare. Thursday a Rocky Mount, NC mother was a victim of Police Brutality. Officer J.M Phillips felt he was above the law. This is so heartbreaking. This sh#t has to stop!!!! Here’s her story:

So yesterday I was a VICTIM OF POLICE BRUTALITY!

I was in my city (Rocky Mount NC) taking my children to daycare, for those of you who are familiar with Winstead Ave (I was coming from Goldrock Rd headed towards Highway Diner) I was almost to L&L when I noticed a State Trooper (J.M.PHILLIPS) turn his lights on by the ABC store, so in my mind I’m like “dang he bout to get somebody”. Me not thinking anything of it because we are on TWO COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SIDES OF THE ROAD, I proceed to take my children to daycare. I noticed he turned around in the middle of the road, so again I’m thinking maybe it’s something major going on that he has to get to so I keep driving. I turn into my kids daycare parking lot and he comes in after me, so to avoid obstructing traffic, I proceed to park my car in front of the daycare. At this point, of course I’m the person he’s pulling, so I try to hurry up and get out of the car to sign my girls into daycare so they won’t have to see mommy talk to the police. He jumps out of his car like he’s the big bad wolf YELLING AT ME, I’m just focused on trying to get my daughters in the building so they don’t have to see anything that’s about to happen. He’s still yelling that I need to get back in my car (at this point I’m standing in front of my car trying to shield my children). He’s telling me “you’re two second away from going to jail” I’m still confused as to why I was even pulled so ONCE AGAIN, I look him in his eyes and I ask him “CAN YOU PLEASE HAVE SOME COMMON DECENCY AND LET ME TAKE MY KIDS INSIDE SO THEY WONT HAVE TO SEE THIS”. He continued to tell me no and that if I don’t get back in my car I’m going to jail. So at this point I’m like okay, let me get in the car and take whatever he wants to give me so he can just go (PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT I AM PARKED IN FRONT OF MY KIDS DAYCARE, HIS PATROL CAR HAS ME T’D IN). As I’m trying to walk back to the driver seat of my car, he GRABS ME FOR NO REASON. So my human instinct is to pull away. As soon as I pulled away he reached for his GUN, so I immediately start screaming to the daycare teachers that are outside, “HE’S PULLING HIS GUN PLEASE RECORD HE’S GOING TO KILL ME”. My adrenaline starts racing and all I can hear is my 7YR OLD DAUGHTER SCREAMING! All I can remember thinking is “God PLEASE don’t let him kill me in front of my children”. Next thing I know everything went white and I’m shivering on the pavement �� I had been TASED ‼️ once again; I AM

NOT A THREAT! I DO NOT HAVE A WEAPON! MY CAR IS BLOCKED IN! All I have is my Crocs and my 2 children IN FRONT OF THEIR DAYCARE! I’m assuming my oldest daughter then grabbed her sister and ran inside to get their daycare provider! THANK GOD she came out with her camera and started recording from that point forward (THERE WAS A DAYCARE TEACHER OUTSIDE WITH CHILDREN WHO WITNESSED THE BEING OF THE ALTERCATION). After J M PHILLIPS (State Trooper) TASED ME. He then got on top my back and applied pressure to my neck and back area (this morning I can barely speak) I’m screaming I AM NOT RESISTING (mind you the taser prongs are still in my body). He will not get off of me, all I can do is cry and beg him to take the prongs out of my skin! (the prongs were embedded in my hips and hand) he showed no type of compassion that my kids were there. For Gods sake I had on a tshirt, some leggings and come crocs. I was NOT inside my vehicle so there was not way I could even attempt to reach for anything for him to feel that his life was in danger ⚠️! I am barely 170lbs. He handled me like a man! Never have I ever been so scared in MY LIFE ‼️ I feel he used EXCESSIVE FORCE and he did it WITHOUT REASON!

There is so much more that happened (thankfully it was recorded by my childcare provider) but I am going to get justice for ME!

I see these types of things happening on the news, never did I ever think it would happen to ME!

State Trooper J M PHILLIPS used EXCESSIVE FORCE by TASING me , IN FRONT OF MY CHILDREN at a DAYCARE‼️ And all of this over an ALLEGED SPEEDING TICKET ❓Police are suppose to PROTECT AND SERVE, STATE TROOPER DID NEITHER OF THOSE THINGS ON YESTERDAY!

Please help me get my story out !!

My head was busted open (two staples were needed but they told me they would have to cut my hair to put them in, I wasn’t willing to do that so I have to be super careful so it can heal on it’s own) from the impact of the fall, once I was on the ground he STILL CONTINUED TO SEND ELECTRIC SHOCKS TO ME, I was completely IMMOBILE! I have braces, so my lip was busted as well. I also have video recording of the nurse from the hospital telling me that the prongs from the taser were embedded in my hand (yes there’s literally a hole in my hand from where he continued to send electric shocks after I was subdued) there are holes in my hip from where prongs where embedded in my skin. I had to be on a heart monitor and get EKG’s. And I also had to have my hand X-ray to make sure it wasn’t broken (due to the extension outside damage)

All I wanted to do was protect my children from this corrupt cop. He said I was doing 67 in a 45. I’m not going to make it seem like I don’t speed, but one thing for sure is I DO NOT DO IT WHEN ME KIDS ARE WITH ME! It’s bad enough you have to drive for you and everyone else on the road, I would NEVER put my children in harms way!

But me trying to protect my kids got me TASED!
